Oorsig: When Rebekah turns down Klaus’ plea to stop Kol and protect Jeremy, Klaus turns to Stefan for help. After an angry confrontation with her father, Mayor Hopkins, over his unconventional approach to ending the violence in Mystic Falls, Bonnie has a frightening run-in with Kol, followed by an unexpected visitor. Klaus complicates the already tense feelings between Stefan and Damon by revealing a bit of Stefan’s personal life, then surprises Damon by asking for personal advice. Elena tells Stefan about her dangerous plan for Jeremy, leaving Stefan in a difficult spot. When the high school’s 1980s Decade Dance is cancelled by Mayor Hopkins, Stefan finds a charming way to make it up to a disappointed Rebekah.

    Teenage vampire soap opera. Probably the worst vampire TV show.

    Toss out everything you've learned about the traditional vampire. I scoffed and couldn't finish episode two. The overly loud terrible music soundtrack gave me a headache. The "evil" brother was the only thing that kept me watching episode two but I couldn't take the music anymore.

    Man, it’s been hell of a ride. I got emotionally attached to this series. I cried with these characters. I laughed with them. I don’t know why other people hate it but I loved it. Sure it got a little bit boring when you got closer to the ending but it’s worth a shot. Overall I’ll give this 8.5/10.
